  • Just When You Thought

    Just When You Thought

    by Patricia E. Turner
    • Rated 4 stars

    Just when you thought....

Mekia James grew up vowing not to let drugs and men destroy her life the way she saw it destroy her mothers. She is determined to meet her Mr. Perfect and live life happily ever after... but just when she thought she'd met her Mr. Perfect she suffers a fate far worse than her mothers through lies, manipulation and deceit.

Patricia E. Turner has written a suspenseful story that has you turning page after page. I highly recommend this book.

  • Seduced by Moonlight
    • Rated 5 stars

Seduced by Moonlight is a breathtaking romance -

Ex-pro football player, Harry Payne and nurse, Cheri Washington meet one moonlit night on the balcony at the Colorado resort Harry owns. There was instant attraction but both went their separate ways. By chance they meet again, a week later, when Harry agrees to sponsor Cheri’s daughter, Danielle in a quest for the Olympics.

Charlie Washington, Cheri’s ex-husband and Danielle’s father, returns in their lives with plans of his own – getting his family back. But Harry wasn’t having it.

This is a very passionate love story about two people being seduced by the moonlight… if you are a hopeless romantic; I highly recommend this book to you. I loved it. It is definitely one I plan to read again and again. Another job well done Janice.

Ms. Griggs did it again.... If Memory Serves had me crying, chuckling, thinking... it ministered to me in so many ways. I always get so engrossed in her books I never want them to end. I always enjoy reading about Pastor Landris and Johnny Mae. Awesome job! Look forward to more of her work.

  • Color Of Trouble (Indigo Love Spectrum)
    • Rated 4 stars

The Color of Trouble is about love, betrayal and hurt... Kari and Jonathan are a interracial couple who has a hard time being accepted by their family and peers. With the interference and betrayal of their parents, Kari and Jonathan loses trust in one another but their love never failed, even after seven years... by then Kari is engaged to Steven, an African American, and have set her mind like all the rest dealing with bigotry. She feels it is easier to marry Steven, the man her parents and peers approves of than marry the man she has always loved... I recommend you read this book to find out how Kari chose in the end. It is a great read.

  • Wedding Gown (Indigo: Sensuous Love Stories)

    A love so strong...

The Wedding Gown is about Ashleigh making her dream gown for her upcoming wedding, only the wedding didn't take place. Placing an ad to sale the gown she meets Keefe where there's instant mutual attraction between them. Keefe wants to buy the dress for his sister, Mia. Upon Mia trying the dress on for purchase she meets Ashleigh's ex-fiancee, Damien and they instantly fall in love at first site. Only Keefe isn't happy about it and tries everything he can think of to keep them apart. Keefe has taken care of Mia all of her life, they are so overprotective of one another they find it hard to let anyone else come between them, even for love... I love that special bond they have for one another. But will they let go long enough to find a different kind of love. This book was a great read, there are lots of twists and turns in the book that makes it worth reading non-stop from beginning to end. Don't miss out on a wonderful love story.

  • Dream Runner (Indigo)

    Dream Runner (Indigo)

    by Gail McFarland
    • Rated 5 stars

'Dream Runner' was about sports/athletes... the heroine is a track runner with the goal of going to the Olympics when she has a car accident causing her to think her dream is over... but she meets her therapist, an ex-football player, who sticks with her, by her and encourage her to reach the goal she's always wanted. I loved it, although I'm not a sports fan the book was really good. I recommend this book to all.
