I'm 19 years old and currently am at university to get my Bachelor of Arts with Honours (English and History) so that I can eventually get into teaching (though not in Canada...I want to live in Europe or Asia or somewhere else for a bit...then I might come back - it's hard to not love Canada after all). I love reading more than anything...it's great to be able to get away from life for a bit by slipping into some other world and not having to worry about anything in your own world. It's so easy for me to get sucked into a story or addicted to a series that it can be result in some major procrastination when it comes to my assignments...which can be bad. My favourite genres are definitely fantasy and romance - combine the two and I'm definitely not going to be putting the book down before I finish it.

My current obsession is Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter series, I've been devouring them over the last few weeks, reading about about 1 in every 2 days, and since there's quite a few of them, it's been taking up a lot of my time. I also love JR Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series, Harry Potter, the Twilight Series (I suppose there aren't many who don't like Twilight...), The Inheritance Cycle, and anything by John Green, Scott Westerfeld, Libba Bray or Maureen Johnson. I love some of the classics to, like Jane Austen and Emily Bronte (etc). I'm also planning on reading Karen Moning's books after I finish the Dark Hunter series.

I love sports and play rugby, softball and lacrosse on a regular basis. I also snowboard and wake board. I spend WAY too much time watching movies and DVD box sets of TV shows with my friends (all I spend money on is TV shows and books lol). On weekends I'm almost always out with my friends (having just turned 19 this year, I have to take advantage of the fact that I can now drink legally).
