I've always been a reader. I've got a love hate relationship with books. And while I love them and their knowledge, I try to apply some of what I learn into my life.

    The Magdalen Manuscript

There are three parts to the book.
An inspiring channelling of the Magdalen where she shares her sacred relationship between herself and Yeshua.
An deeper more technical look at the alchemical techniques discussed in the channelling.
A woman's journey through life encountering the masculine in many forms and working with the Goddess.

The art work is second to none!

While I wouldn't consider this Alan Moore's best work (Watchmen) I do think its a solid introduction into the world Kaballah.

A great journey into a smart man's criminal life. I have to say I love the lingo and the way he's able to humanize himself despite his womanizing ways (ahem! The title!).

This IS NOT a role model. The guy has issues! But he shows you a world that only a few of us could barely imagine.

This is an overall very good book. My favorite part of the book are the little stories he so easily tells during the interludes. It really paints the depth of the greater world. I thought the book was masterfully setup. I got a little bored right before the climax (and it may have been intentional on the author's part).

However, the climax was a little bit of a let down. Not very heroic in my opinion.

All in all, very well written and love how it unfolds.

I really like the journey the author takes you on. No the most complex plot or characters, but nonetheless a simple and intriguing journey.
