This book is a must read. It is moving, inspiring and helpful. My involvement in getting this book to the general public is one I am most proud of.

A very good trilogy, although the first book is the strongest

What a joy for any Londoner of a certain age, and if you're a Jew from North West London it's a "must read". The last 70 pages isn't the best but you really won't mind. A sheer delight and very funny

Am I the only person to think this book was badly edited and over written? Very disappointed.

Without being sentimental or so sad that one can't read it, this makes one feel so guilty, ignorant and hopeful at the same time. Read it, it's important that we learn and remember

What a fabulous read about a fascinating, terrifying period and filled with larger than life real life characters. Highly recommend.
