I'm a mother of a four year old girl and a baby boy. I'm a home health caregiver and elderly companion. I live in Vancouver, Wa right over the bridge from Portland, OR. My favorite bookstore is Powells and can spend all day there. My daughter also loves books so we spend a good portion of the day reading. I have listed on my shelves books I've read, own, and some of my daughters more favorite books, or mine when I was young. I love historical fiction, fantasy, vampire and supernatural books, and pretty much anything except I'm not a big fan of mystery or romance just by itself.
I've been an avid reader since I was a small child. I read so much I got grounded from my books! I read all the YA books at our small town library but regretfully don't have a list of all of them. I mostly listed books that I remember at least a little bit. I see many books that look and sound familiar but don't know 'for sure' that I read it. I only list it if I know for sure that I did. On my reading list is books I've seen that sound good and plan to read, on my top 10 I list books that really stuck with me, and my wish list is books that I want to own, whether I've read them or not.

Also, if you are requesting me as a friend it had better be because we have a lot of books in common, or we're in a group or groups together. I'm not a friend collector! « less
