We have moved from California and have lived in Maine for the past 3 years, where my "roots" are. We are very happy here.

Again, another beautiful icon picture! reminds me rather of a recent trip we took to the coast a bit south of Maine, but it was far too cold to really explore the beach for the shells I wanted to find again - it was a memory trip but after all these years lot has changed, and time shortage made it difficult to recognise a lot of places.
You second comment looked like this; “Was anyone out there bothered by the ending (the "dream")? I felt gypped. So the dream wasn't the reality of what happened...” I went and got the book because it was strange how it began and ended with italicized type - I thought maybe it was dream sequence.
Did you mean you would like to join the Lighten Up Club? We are about making permanent positive life change - generally weight loss - but some more that others, a couple are just trying to get better in other areas of their life and need support and a check in. Let me know if that's what you would like I can send you an invitation. It's a private group. Other groups like Moms, will appear on your profile when you join and you just hit the avatar to go there. If you go to my profile you can see all the groups and double click any to go there - if you join they appear on your profile.
I can't find where to reply on your second comment.
I didn't think it ended with a dream, just like in the beginning in the first paragraph, she wakes up and runs from the flames of the convent then into the flames at the end. I went and got the book and looked again. it was weird and confusing because of all her dreaming of the wax figures. I hope you'll look at the Moms who... group and join the discussion there.
Well, I did not ask if you are Indian, because if you were you would know about the film - anyway at the age you are you will understand the nuances in the film, it is beautifully made. Read the book first by all means, since maturity is not a concern and reading gives time for absorbing it.
Thank you for saying nice things!
