I am a trained librarian, who just spent 9 months being a librarian on two of Holland America Line's cruise ships. I'm now back in upstate New York, looking for a library job somewhere on the East Coast, hopefully working with kids and/or teens. In the meantime, I tutor, work at motorcycle rallies, read, and write. While I prefer a good fantasy most days of the week, I'll read just about anything besides horror/super suspenseful. I'm not big into the whole Vampire craze but have read a few in the genre, enough so that I can talk intelligently about it.

I own a Kindle, and while I love it (especially for travel), I'm still mostly a physical book reader. « less
