“Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body,” said by Joseph Addison. If this is true than I am constantly exercising my mind and intriguingly get in more trouble for it than my brother for playing video games. Maybe it is for what I read? I tend to read mainly Paranormal Romance or Fantasy. Anything with Vampires, Werewolves, Witches,... more »

Yeah I much prefered the awakening although i think she's dragged out the story a bit too much, if it'd a trilogy. I want to read her adult books too.

It is simply just OK so far, although I am only on page 125 or right around there. Characters are still being introduced. I am not really impressed with the way the character profiles have been developed. The book has not grabbed me the way Jeannine Frost (Night Huntress) and J. R. Ward (Black Dagger Brotherhood) has. I will say, that it has not made me want to shoot myself in the foot like "Interview with the Vampire" by Ann Rice. I hope that the story takes an unexpected turn that will hold me, although I will finish it no matter what. Hope this helps. I am glad to see that you enjoyed "Bitten", I think that will be the next book I read.--Dawn

    I love it too!
I am on the second book and I cant wait to finnish it and read the next one!
    I have 2 questions:
    1) will Claire and Shane tell there love to the world?
    2) will Michael and Eve be together even if her love is a ghost?

Hi, I saw that you read The Red-Headed Stepchild and that you put only 3 stars.
I personally think that the book deserves 5 stars.
You don't have a review and I would like to know why you think this book is worth 3 stars.

I just read up on Dexter last night, I found 3 interesting facts:
    1. The Series is slatted for a 4th and a 5th season
    2. The 4th Season begins this fall, probably in Sept.
    3. The man who plays Dexter and the woman who plays his sister got married this past New Years Eve!

Hubby and I love the Dexter series, I've read all the books and thanks to you remembered today to add them to my shelf.

Thank you for the friend request. I see that we a lot of books in common, that we have read and want to read.
Do you keep up with the Sookie Stackhouse series on TV? Shouldn't be long until the new season starts, Hubby even watches it with me and he's not a great fan of vampire movies.

I don't blame you for that. I have some that I've collected that I won't list either, especially many of my hardbacks, but I've tried to force myself to trade some of my paperbacks, even some that I love. I have so many books that I just need to make more room for those I haven't read yet. I accepted your buddy request earlier tonight, so we should be buddies now. Hope you find some great books that you'd like to read there. Make a wish list for those you really want so that you will be on the wait list. And I can see what you want in case I get it or have it. I can then post it to you specifically.

That's great! Are you using the same name there? Don't forget to go and request to be my buddy. I am using dindzhov as my name there. When you fill out your wishlist, I will keep an eye on it to see if I have anything you might like to read.
