Avid reader, will read just about anything (no romances). I really love to read a good mystery, western or adventure novel. Always looking for a new author to try and I hope that I will get some suggestions on here.

Hello Mike ... I'm a new author who recently published on Kindle and I see you've added my book (Endless Age) to your shelf! Thank You!! If you enjoy the story PLEASE share with others and leave a kind review on Amazon. As an independent author, word of mouth - and kind reviews - are my main advertising. I hope to hear from you and receive some feedback. I'm working on the 'print version' now and it should be available on Amazon soon. Cheers!

Mike, Have you tried Gregg Hurwitz? I'm reading the second of his books and really like him. Of course with the diversity of your reading, you have probably run across him.

Glad you enjoyed it. I had never heard of this author and just found the book by accident. Some of the best things are unexpected i guess.

I totally agree with you about the religious aspects. I think the time travel idea was good and he could have expanded on that rather than sticking with the one era. Oh well, I guess that's why his bank balance has a lot more zeros in back of it than mine.

I see we both have "Trickster's Point" on our reading lists.

If you get a chance, please check out my thriller, "Splattered Blood."

A word about the Rollin's book - he takes a great deal of literary licence with it and it might offend anyone that is deeply religious - but it is overall a very, very good book - as most of his are.

I just started reading Gregg Olsen books and I really like them. If you want a really good book, read James Rollins new one, "Blood Gospel".

Hey Mike, See you are reading "A Deeper Darkness". Have you read any of J.T. Ellison's earlier books, the Taylor Jackson series? Even though the new series is about her friend the medical examiner, I really liked the Taylor Jackson books more. These are all well worth reading. I have really found some great read on your shelf. Thanks!

Hi Mike, I hope all is well. I see you’re also a crime fiction fan. Thanks for sharing your read titles. My new crime novel ASK THE DICE is published by Crossroad Press (I have no other connection to it). “Compelling read,” says one Goodreads reviewer. Please consider adding ASK THE DICE for your book list. Thank you and happy reading, Ed Lynskey

I noticed we both have IT listed as a favorite book, I'd have to say it's my all time favorite. I finished Sparrow Rock by Nate Kenyon not long ago, I thought it was a pretty good read. Kinda gory, zombies, that old chestnut.

Thanks. People at my school think I'm weird, but they've sort of gotten used to it. I walk in going 'Guess what!' and all of them reply simlutaniously 'You got a new book.' It's kind of funny actually.
