I am a very avid reader and usually read about 1 book a week or so. I have a lot of time to read and get very drawn into what I read. I try to keep notes and make sure I get the new books in a series as fast as I can! I also use www.paperbackswap.com to recycle my read books and get credits to get other books and save money by exchanging books...
