Dear Stacy: I'm an author from Massachusetts. Haverhill. I wonder if your library has a copy of my debut novel HUNTING THE KING. The novel revolves around a charismatic young woman named Molly O’Dwyer. Molly was five years old when she witnessed her mother die in a fire. She never knew her father. After her mother’s death, she was raised on the campus of a Jesuit college. Now an archaeologist, she has been recruited to participate on a dig in war torn Iraq. As a scientist she is compelled to discover whatever or whoever is buried under the sands of ancient Babylon. As an observant Catholic, she is scared that whatever she finds will have devastating consequences for her faith. There is a wonderful YouTube book trailer well worth watching if you have the chance. If you do get to see, please let me know what you think. Thanks. Peter

Kenyon writes a really popular Dark Hunter series that starts with Fantasy lover. That's the only book I"ve read by her. People promise me it gets better but right now I've got other books I'd rather read right now! Her story included in the book with Into the Dreaming is supposedly a part of her Dark Hunter series, as well. You may have heard of the book Acheron? It's something crazy like book 12 of the Dark Hunter series.

Into the Dreaming is a Novella originally in an anthology. It sets up everything and is kinda interesting. Highlanders are about needing love, searching for love and finding it with paranormal activity in the background. Fever series is the opposite.

have you seen the videos on my blog about the Fever series? They actually are considering it for a movie! Try the KMM boards-they are totally crazed fans there! Plus a new video for Faefever.

My first Moning books were Darkfever and Bloodfever because it's a new series--3rd book, Faefever out in 4 day^^. What I didn't know was that this is a spinoff to her Highlander series. There is an amazing character in her fever books, Jericho Barrons, that is making everyone crazy because nobody know who or what he really is and whose side he's really on! Once I went to the KMM website, I found out that fans are researching her Highlander books and celtic mythology to figure out who he is and what's going on. All the books are linked--her earlier Highlander series is much more "romantic paranormal" than her Fever series but still very, very good. You could start with the Highlander series (but it's recommended to read them in order) or you could do what I'm doing, Read the Fever series and in between her releases. The KMM boards are amazing and offer so much info that I was trying to cram all of her books in before Faefever but my next Highlander book hasn't come yet! RAWR!

The Fever series is so much fun! It makes me feel like such a nerd! But Jericho Barrons and Macayla Lane are worth it!

The first book for the Highlanders is:
Into the Dreaming (written later but time wise is first)
    Beyond the Highland Mist
    To Tame a Highland Warrior
    The Highlander's Touch
Kiss of the Highlander (this is the one I'm wating on)

I don't have my cheat sheet with me, I think there may be 3-4 more highlander books.

Hi Stacy!! I was looking at your list and noticed you read Charlaine Harris' other books outside of the Sookie series, so here is my question: are her other books as good as that series??

This is such a great website! Right now I'm on a big Karen Marie Moning kick. I can't wait for her new book, Faefever, out Sept 16th. I see you're reading The Gargoyle! In one of my groups it's the Sept. book of the month.
