Just got into this one after finishing the first two within a matter of days. Can't put them down until I know what happens!

Loved this book! Downloaded it onto my Kindle at my sister's recommendation, and have already finished the first two books in the trilogy, almost finished with the third. Great dystopian fiction! :) Love it!

Again, as with the other two books in the series, I loved it. Couldn't put the series down, and became obsessed :)

I love this series! It reminds me a lot of the Fever series by Moning (only a LOT less explicit, of course), which I loved. I love the mundanes, Downworlders, and Fae/Nephilim/etc. themes.

Again, like its prequel and the first in the Infernal Devices series, a fun read. I'm not against a serious book, or a sad one, but sometimes it's so nice to get lost in a youthful, carefree fantasy world like the one Clare has created here.

I'm a grown woman, but I absolutely adore youth fiction and fantasy. Hunger Games, The Host, Witch & Wizard...this book fits nicely into that regime, and was an enchanting and peaceful read. There's action, unspoken love, magic, and darkness. What more could a girl want???

I LOVED this book! I always enjoy a story of courage and this one stands apart from the rest. It was unique and bold, and...well, you should just read it. :)

I read this book because it came highly recommended by so many people I knew, and after reading it, I'm not sure why they recommended it. I guess it's a solid story and a good premise for a main idea, but the book was a drag (IMHO). It took so long to get started and the character development was like bicycling through quicksand. (Hard work, and ultimately, I'd rather just let the sand and darkness claim me than press on.) The book had no burning emotion, no passion. I don't ask for a lot, but everything was on a surface or near-surface level, and there was no room for interpretation or inference. Well...maybe inference, but by the time anything was going to happen, I couldn't have cared less about what it was. Whether the characters solved the mystery or were all brutally murdered, I had so little invested that it mattered not. I'm not one who needs to be enthralled by the end of the first page, or even chapter, but at some point, you do have to pique my interest. That's a challenge, Stieg.
