I am a read-a-holic! I don't really read in any type of ordered, strategic fashion, but randomly hop from subject-to-subject and genre-to-genre. That's what makes reading fun for me! The adventure of not planning it out, but just "happening" upon something new and out-of-the-norm and reading it "just because." I usually keep one fiction and... more »

Hi Brenda! Thanks for accepting my friendship request. I noticed that you have "Let Go" by Fenelon on your shelf. That book changed my life! I actually wrote about it in my first book - you might be interested in it. "How Do You Know He’s Real?" features the testimonies of more than 100 actors, recording artists and athletes who share how their faith has impacted their lives in the spotlight.

You can read excerpts and see the list of participants on my website, www.amyhagberg.com.

Looking forward to getting to know you!

Although these are both pretty Seattle-specific, my two favorite PNW history books are Skid Road by Murray Morgan and Sons of the Profits by William Speidel. Exploring Washington's Past: A Road Guide to History by Ruth Kirk and Carmela Alexander is an excellent reference book that in a must-have on road trips!

Im not actually sure about the symbolism. I was once messing around with a lot of words I like, and ideas I like, mixing and matching, (I'm a writer and was inventing magical concepts at the time :-) ) and Arrowsong really struck me... I love archery and I thought it really caught the beauty of it. I also love music and linking the two seemed... natural.
