I love to read. I prefer Christian books, Beth Moore is my favorite. I also am especially fond of stories based around the Appalachian/Southern culture. I think I am now ready to venture into the "classics" I have always wanted to read but put off for one reason or another.

Hey I am not too far down the road from you. I live in St. Paul. I was trying to find some people in my area and found you. I see you like books about the area we live. I reccomend you read St. Peter's Monsters by Neva Bryan. She is from our neck of the woods and has written a book set in St. Paul, Castlewood, Lebanon. I really liked it myself. Hope you do too! Also Tracie Peterson is a good Christian writer. I am a big fan of her stuff. She really can weave God and Love into book.

I wondered if you had read The Shack. I was in the doctor's office yesterday and was fighting back tears as I read two chapters. I had to keep putting it down so that I didn't look like I was off my rocker in the doctor's office. :) I shouldn't be reading it, but I've been putting off writing by reading fun stuff lately. Haven't gotten to your other Lee Smith book yet. After I finish the Shack, I'm going to try to get back into writing and finish my projects up before I read anymore though. I'd love to read all of the Lee Smith ones though.

yes, do save that for me . . . Beth Moore has one online? Wow! I didn't know that. We could try it. But sooner or later, you've got to get out and meet real people again, not just their cyber-selves miss reclusive. :) hahahahahaha
