Born in 1946 - started seriously reading in 1958 - before that it was just what books I was given for birthdays and such - but this was the year I discovered the Library! I joined Great Horton Library in 1958 and read every single Science Fiction book they had on the shelves - it probably took me a couple of years - there weren't that many.... more »

    I remember watching Erik & Hattie on TV back in the old days... my dad in particular loved those programmes, as he did Monty Python.

I took a look at your book shelf, and although we don't have a huge number of books in common when I saw 2 books about the 2 Erics (Idle and Sykes) it made me want to follow you!
