So sorry for my incredibly long absence from Shelfari recently! I’ve been crazy busy finishing up my first year at college and studying for finals and everything, and then my laptop decided to die on me. I’m still working out the kinks, but for now I’m back home and can use the family computer. Thank goodness.
I’m currently doing a complete revamp of my books and my Shelfari account. I finally decided that I have too many books and need to get rid of some of them. Awful, I know. If any of you know of any way to make a little profit while doing this, let me know! I could always use a little extra cash. :) Bear with me while I make the changes. And I promise, I will eventually reply to all the notes that have piled up in my absence.

I’m a college student who loves to read and write, and I’m planning to double major in dance and English. I’ve traveled and lived all over the world, and I find it very hard to stay in one place for too long. I absolutely love my school though, so hopefully I’ll be happy to be settled until I graduate! :)
I own way too many books (and I’m discovering that yes, there might actually be such a thing), but I just can’t bring myself to get rid of them yet. I read (and collect) just about every genre, although I’ve never really been one for horror or science fiction.
I also love to watch movies and TV, and I’m a little bit obsessed with both Doctor Who and LOST. One of my favorite things to do is get other people hooked on them, so check them out! I’m a big outdoor person, but I also love to spend time on the internet (probably too much).
I’m an active trader on PaperBackSwap and BookMooch (they’re both awesome, you should join), and I can frequently be found on SheroesCentral, which is a fantastic forum for anybody to chat about anything. I’m also a member of RandomBuzzers, which is a great place to let your voice be heard and win lots of free stuff!
I review books for several different websites and publishing companies (and I’m getting into the freelance thing a bit as well), including HarperCollins, Little Brown & Co, TeensReadToo, and FlamingNet, all of which are great.
I just started a blog (and I do mean just), http://musingsfromatoz.blogspot.com, and I’m going to be posting all my past (and future) book reviews, as well as some movie reviews and general thoughts. I’d love it if you dropped by and left a comment!
I love to chat and meet new people (I met my best friend online), so if you feel like talking books, LOST, Doctor Who, or just about anything else, feel free to contact me!
Oh, and just a note about my shelves, the 'I've Read' shelf is actually not a list of all the books I've read, but all the books I own. Shelfari just recently changed the format, and if you think I'm actually going to go through and move over a thousand books, you're nuts. Also, the 'I'm Reading' shelf is actually a list of all the books I've read this year (continually updated, of course).
