My reading focus tends to be mystery, fantasy, science fiction, travel...and any combination thereof - but most genres are worth a shot. I prefer happy endings, but suspenseful middles; relationship centric, with some flashes of humor. Currently I am reading more history/politics/non-fiction and am always looking for recommendations.
I usually have two or three books going at one time, sometimes more if I am reading a non-fiction book (it is always in addition to my fiction selections).
** I do not use the stars as they are described.... No stars doesn't necessarily mean that I disliked the book, some of them I may have enjoyed very much. I rarely give 5 stars -- 1 star is usually an OK book. I find the stars very subjective, and have changed some ratings several times, depending on my mood. If you want to know how I felt about a particular book, leave me a message, and I will try to give a clear answer.
