1968 is not proving to be a very good year for Sergeant E-5 William Hirschfield, assigned to the 2nd Infantry Division, in the Republic of Korea. Shortly after he arrived, he made three discoveries: First, there was some kind of warfare going on in Korea, in spite of the fact that the Korean War Armistice was signed in 1953.
