  • Elam: A son of Shem who eats some fruit from Morgan's tree so he lives for thousands of years. He helps to protect the dragons.
  • Paili: a little girl that Mara looks after. later, she becomes Patrick's wfe
  • Morgan: The evil character in this book who is a wraith. She keeps the underborns underground in a different dimension. She tries to destroy the dragon race and to steal a girl to be her hostaim. Her name before the Flood is Lilith.
  • Yerq: Mara's spawn that she looks after until he becomes a giant. Mardon then takes him to train him to hate so that he can use him to lead the army of Nefil.
