Keroauc is truly beat in this story of his travels in Paris and Brittany to find his roots.

Two of the harder books to read by Kerouac, who is, at best, an acquired taste. This is him at his run-on-sentence, navel-gazing mystical worst/best, depending on your tastes.

I've just begun this one. It was left on my table by my son and I picked it up. Interesting.
