“"Words You Don't Want to Hear During Your Annual Performance Review" is a classic Dilbert comic book. Even though people might state that it's not a "real" book and it's only 127 pages long, I think the book is very informative and funny and isn't a waste of time. In this book of Dilbert, we see the classic jokes in the office. Even though the comic is based around a computer company, it never fails to make me laugh out loud. (I'm writing this review for a class assignment so it must to be descriptive and all, not that I don't want to review, I want to, but it might too overly reviewed for this book. sorry.)
I think Scott Adams is pretty amazing. He puts originality in to every comic strip and is able to turn a general topic of "office" in to something funny. Through the comic I didn't only laugh but I also learned a lot through out the book. Being a student myself, I kinda see how business works.. even though business doesn't always run in a humorous way. I mean.. I learned that trying to change the channel and volume on a remote at the same time can sprain your arm! bawhaha.. no.. actually I learned several things such as how orignial ideas can lead to great sales. I would definately recommened this book, it's really great and the comics are very clever. Also, I guess there's a message from every Dilbert cartoon, that there's always something worth living for in life, something to be happy about even when things seem to be the complete opposite.
