oh my, this book was really, really good! the author is amazing at creating visualization of the text. the plot was very exciting....i stayed up WAY past my bedtime reading, and reading!

the one thing that was kind of a drag was the rambling. the author tended to get off subject on some things, which was frustrating, because you just wanted to know what happened to the characters!

It did drag a bit, but was worth the read in the long run. Great Story!

How this book ever made it to Oprah's Book Club, I will never understand. It is drudgery to complete it and there is so much movement back and forth that it stops being suspenseful and simple turns irritating.
