“This book opens doorways to viewing the hardships one must endure given the restrictions life hands you. Who didn't want him to end up with the nurse? Sad book, but good read. ”

“Is it possible NOT to sympathize with the Elephant Man? The horrors and humiliation he had to face are so heart-breaking that amaze you with how heartless humanity can be. A definite must-read, especially since it's a true story.”
