Not really the best of Clavell's books but still worth reading. His epic stories sort of got lost with modern technology. Bring back the samurai swords! :D

I read Tai-Pan and Shogun by this author also. They were great books. I liked this one the best.

This book again is a wonderful historical fiction by Cavell. A fantastic glimpse into the world of Iran, the culture, the people, and the politics of a war. Certainly relevant in today’s political theater.

This is a novel by an Australian author who was
living in Iran during the 1979 revolution.

This book helped me learn a lot about the history of Iran, of course I'm not saying it replaces real historical books. Duke Stark's character was really memorable for me, I don't even remember why. Read it when I was in high school. Named my first car after Duke Stark...
