Didn’t Like It“Good story, bad writing. Very suspenseful at the end, when we finally got through all that minutiae. At 399 pages, this book needed editing. It was a 200 page story.” see full review » see other reviews » |

It was so exciting and really, I couldn't predict the plot at all! The characters were strong, as well as the narration. It was such a fun book! I really enjoyed it! My only complaint was that there could have been a bit more to the ending... that's not to say that it ended poorly, I just felt like there were some things that I would have liked to know more about. I am really looking forward to reading more from this author!”

I love how this man never lets me down. he is still me FAVORITE Suspense author! WOW. I have to admit he didn't surpass Too Close to Home, but he came pretty damn close with this one!”

Tim Blake has a morning argument with his teenage daughter Sydney not knowing that it is the last time he will speak to her before finding out she is missing.
The characters, especially Tim, were very real and the emotions are portrayed in a very realistic and moving way. There are also other subplots involving the other characters, all just as interesting and move along cohesively with the main plot.
I really loved everything about this book but the ending fell flat for me, I wish Barclay had continued for a few more pages to wrap up better.
Even though the ending was blasé, I would still recommend it for a great suspenseful read.”

A mans teenage daughter dissappears suddenly, it is unclear whether she is a runaway or abducted. In his search to find her what he learns makes you think about how well you really know the people you surround yourself with. ”

I could not believe how many times Barclay fliped everything during this book and left me wondering what could possibly be next. Definitely going to look into his earlier books.”
