Kinky Friedman was recommended to me in a "If you like Christopher Moore..." way and so I had pretty high expectations which I'm sorry to say, were not met. Although he does have an interesting way of saying things, I found that I wasn't that interested in what he had to say. The story was dull and and I just didn't really like any of the characters, unlike in a Moore book where I feel like I'd like to know these people in real life. Maybe I started w/ a bad book.
