May be I was supposed to feel attached to the protagonist by having read all those prequels. But just reading this, I didn't get the attachment. All the action sequences in the novels are excellent, but the imaginative gadgets the author describes makes the supposedly contemporary fiction a beyond-our-time sci-fi fiction. The superiority of weapon power of USA is so biased that none of the action needed a novelty of an excellent war strategist and, therefore, I don't see any ingenuity in the protagonist, which the author seems to have hoped that the readers would. Further, the political blah-blahs are unbearable! I know the politicians are pretty good in killing time, but the author should not have made us to kill the time as well!”
