  • Kristi: Catherine's cool new next-door neighbor.
  • Jason: A mute boy in a wheelchair who Catherine met in David's physical therapy office. Uses a book of word cards to communicate.
  • Ryan: Catherine's neighbor and Kristi's crush. Not very nice to David.

First Sentence
