“A quick read, typical Christie whodunit with her signature twist ending. I just love reading the Miss Marple mysteries, and feeling transported back to a time when even the murders were less lurid than today. Quite a nice summer book.”

“I have a special fondness for this particular Agatha Christie because it was the first of her mysteries I ever read. It's still one of my favorites with lots of the classic Agatha Christie touches--a sleepy English village rocked by a murder, lots of people with secrets, a love affair subplot, and everything neatly tidied up at the end.”
