“A great story, told by a great story teller. The French Revolution revealed in all it's darkness and chaos, but yet a glimmer of hope in the kindness of those who love unconditionally.”

It's about bravery, heroism, love, hatred, revenge and fairness. I'm glad that I've read this book, it's -to summarize in one word- great! I suggest you to read it. You won't believe what a person can do for others he loves.”

The book is set during the Terror following the French Revolution and before the rise of Napoleon. It is a sotry of love, devotion, intrigue, suspense, sacrifice and escape. It begins and ends with the some of the most memorable lines in English literature. This book is a must read.”
