“Disappointing. The second book was a let-down as it lacked a real conclusion. This book has an actual, and rather anti-climatic, conclusion. Add to this the fact that it's arrived it in an overly-convenient, pat way and the result is very lackluster. I also strongly object to the sort of cheap reader manipulation that occurs in regards to the apparent deaths of key characters. It was handled in a very poorly written way. I really wish this hadn't be the way the series ended. It started...”
