“Your typical romance, boy meets girl... Still, when you get what you expect, it's an enjoyable experience, and anyone who enjoys Nora Roberts will like the story of how Shane and Vance try to deny their love at first sight as Shane deals with losing her beloved grandmother and starting a new business.”

This book has the qualities of a fairytale and I love that. The hero literally sweeps the heroine off her feet.
It has the usual contemporary romance feel - he loves me, he loves me not, he loves me, he loves me not...Then, oh, HE LOVES ME! It was sweet. I laughed out loud several times during the story. Nora Roberts is so clever with the interaction she has between the two characters.
The hero is a disguised prince, note that he is rich and he ends up falling for a smalltown girl with little possessions. Sigh... Isn't that what all girls dream about?”
“Early Roberts in full romance mode, definitely felt rather dated reading it in its 2008 incarnation. Think I will be sticking to later works I've not read yet.”

“Both stories were a good read but the endings left a bit to be desired. Nothing worse than getting into a book and enjoying it to be let down at the end of it.”
