This was a hard book to get through but at the same time I couldn't put it down! It clearly defines and explains everything that I know and feel about birth in my country but haven't been able to prove. Dr. Wagner has not only given a resounding rebuttal of the current obstetric monopoly of OBGYNs but also reveals the broken-ness of the American healthcare system in general.
