elfriede jelinek's novel : The piano teacher....incredible novel, her style and even the story surprised me....what about her other novels?

do you think we could place celine, henry miller, scott fitzgerald and bukowski in the same category of writers?

Celine's machine gun style prose, the trademark...,dot dot dot, places him squarely at the head table. A volcanic fury from page one, whose tenderness, compassion, and pursuit of his mistress "life " is often orlooked or oversahdowed by the stain of his war time pamphlets. Indeed, I am never really done reading Journey or his sophmore and arguably more artisitc Death on the Installment Plan. Gunther deserves the backlash for a sixty year silence more I think , but that is another debate altogether.
