“My first exposure to Bukowski - purchased at his reading Nov. 1972 at Moorpark College. Had a chance to talk to him briefly while he signed the book. For me, his words bring emotion, humor, disgust, sadness to everyday situations. He is one of those crude guys you don't really want to know but still feel drawn to listen to what he has to say.”
