Jinx is moving in with her aunt and uncle in New York, to try to escape from troubles at home. Jinx's cousin, Tori, believes that she is a part of a witches group that her great great great grandmother had started, and believes that Jinx could be "one of them". Once Tori tells Jinx how she feels about her powers, Jinx starts going through a whole list of catastrophes that happen to her because Tori is casting so-called, "spells" on Jinx.
