“I have to remember that this is book 1 of a trilogy. The main male character in this book is ruthless in getting revenge, and doesn't let a woman's reputation step in his way. Pretty good so far, almost half-way. The main woman is very English and has alot of honor and pride with a character flaw. But both are extremely well off, so the book kind of loses it's appeal for me, since the male can buy whatever he desires to get what he wants as part of his revenge (dont know yet the exact reason). Won't spoil anymore, good simple read with predictable ending and I am ready to move on.”

I'll take Peregrine as a hero any day! He's a tortured hero who's lost his way, and Sara is the perfect foil for him—principled, kind, and warm.”
