“Book 2 in the Psy-Changeling series tells the story of Vaughn D'Angelo one of the sentinals of the DarkRiver pack and Faith Nightstar of the Psy.
Whilst on patrol Vaughn finds a dwelling that reeks of Psy. Intrigued by who would live in such as guarded place he watches. The resident is Faith, a F-Psy whose power is off the chart. Faith spends her time predicting business venture to generate income for her clan, due to her delicate F-Psy nature she is kept isolated to stave off the madness that eventually overcomes all Psy with this gift.
When Faith's visions change, and show her the gruesome murders of a serial killer she seeks help from Sascha Duncan, the only Psy to have escaped the net. Escaping one night, she is tracked by Vaughn. He reluctantly takes Faith to Sascha, who opens Faith's eyes to the corruption in the Psy-net.
As Faith Starts to feel, so does Vaughn for the stunning Psy. But Faith can't withstand human touch without seizures, can Vaughn manage to move their relationship forward, and will they stop the killer?
I enjoyed this book, but for different reasons to Slave to Sensation. With the first psy-changling book I was captured by the romance. With this book, the romance wasn't as intense, but the sub-plot of corruption in the psy world kept me interested.”
“Another super book in this series, wow can't get enough, thanks Nalini”

This book also sets the ground work up for the future psy/changling "issues." ”

The reader can "feel" both Faith and Vaughn, able to understand where they both come from, their individual points of view, understand what they fight for and why...
I was a bit lost on the "darkness" business though and found the ending lacked in explanation, or any hint at all. Also, the drug incident was quickly brushed away, but hopefully so it can be utilized in the future.
These little hiccups aside, Ms. Singh delivered another gripping and quite emotional tale of the Psy/Changeling universe. The characters were well-developed, the romance nice, slowly-budding, and more than believable, the sex scenes scorchingly hot, and the supporting cast, along with the alpha pair nicely interwoven into the plot.
I loved the deeper glimpse into the Psy Council and their intrigues, along with the rather cute introduction to the NetMind. I'm looking forward to learning more.
Faith's involvement with the changelings and her acceptance into the Pack also gave us a sneak preview of the future books, thanks to this particular Psy's gift, and the conclusion to the suspense subplot also gave a little insight into the next book's hero, Judd Lauren. The little hints Faith discovered were more than intriguing and, although this book ends with a satisfying HEA, the little peek into Judd's abilities provided quite a cliffy for the next installment into this amazing series.”
“Second book in series and still just ok. More is happening in the subplot which will probably be the only reason I'll read the third book and if that one isn't interesting will not bother to read anymore. Interesting all these books have such a high rating on Amazon. Maybe I've been reading too much in one genre.”

However, Singh managed to do all of this without forgetting the main objective of this book. Another admirable thing about this book was the clear differences in personalities and positions in the Pack that Singh took into account while writing this story. Unlike Lucas who is the Pack's Alpha, other Pack members didn't play quite the same pivotal role in this book as they did in the first one. Instead, Singh took into account Vaughn's solitary nature and did a really nice job of making that distinction.
While I enjoyed this book, and the Vaughn & Faith coupling, I would have to say that I enjoyed the first book just a bit more. There were parts of this book that were confusing, namely, all the stuff going on in Faith's head, that could have been explained a bit better. Other than that, it was a great book.”
