Kiss an Angel is a story about an illegitimate daughter, Daisy, and her rich father who doesn't really know her very well. After the death of her mother, Daisy runs up some huge bills and creditors are after her. Her father decides to help her but only if she marries the man of his choice who just happens to be Alex Markov. After the "wedding", Alex takes her to his job at a second rate circus in his run down truck and to his dilapidated, dirty trailer.

The premise of this book is so funny and there are some great lines but some rather cheesy ones as well. ( "He only prayed her angel's wings were keeping her aloft.") Blah. But I was rather drawn to both Daisy and Alex. It was interesting to see them fall in love and learn their background stories.

Some of the plot was easy to guess and pretty emotional. Although I could've done with some more drama. I didn't care for Sheba and especially towards the end when she gets together with a certain someone. I so did not want to hear the details ... eeww! Also, I wished we would've gotten some details at the end of the epilogue.

There is a bit a of a paranormal aspect. It's not really played out enough but it did perk up my interest.

Favorite lines:

"Good news!" she chirped. "The doctor says this time it's triplets!"

and ...

"All it means is that, while our minds may have trouble communicating, our bodies don't have any problem at all."

"I don't think it's that simple."

"Sure it is."

"The earth moved," she said softly. "That has to be more than bodies communicating."
