I think this may be my favorite SEP book. At first I was so irritated with the heroine, but she comes around and grows up. The hero is a real jerk, but has to pay up with supreme poetic justice. Also I loved the tiger, but I'm prejudiced. I love SECOND HAND LIONS, and I really did once have an African lion save my life!

Reads very dated. Thought heroine was a doormat and the hero an inconsiderate jerk. No amoutn of groveling on his part would have redeemed him. Author writes well- so it helped to move story along. Hero bullied heroine in this far-fetched plot. I rated this a D+ and the plus was for the writing.
