“A classic, short book, easy to read, with a quiet and steady narrative voice. This was my second read of Zen in the Art of Archery. I first read it in the early 70s, although I barely remembered what it said. It teaches that one must learn to disregard the self, to achieve purposeless detachment to attain "It"-- "something which can neither be understood, or laid hold of, and which reveals itself only to those who have experienced it." ”
