“Excellent. Extraordinary true tale of an Australian convict who escapes to India. He helps the pporest of the poor and begins a medical clinic. It will shake your reality to realize that this is a modern day story, that is going on today.

“A nicely paced and well written book. Its a tome an i read the book in about 3-4 sitting. The characters really come out at you. If u are a desi, i think you probably will enjoy more. This was supposed to have been made into a movie 2008/2009, J.Depp had purchased the rights, with A.Bacchan as one of the characters, wonder what happened?”
