Liked It“Extremely funny. Obelix makes you laugh a lot of times. What's more, doesn't take more than an hour to read. Perfect way to spend a lazy Saturday afternoon. :)” see full review » see other reviews » |
Didn’t Like It“Another Gaulish chief visits the village and brings a cauldron with money in it so it can be protected. The money is stolen and it's obvious the chief from the other village is behind it. |

I believe I may be favourable to two Asterix comics over the rest (even though I like them all so much). Asterix and the cauldron would be a close second, the first being Asterix in Spain. These books always transport me into another world. All that will go into my review for this book is if you're money smells like onion soup, then it's time to distrust someone from your own community. Don't believe me, pick this book up, and you will not be disappointed. ”

Asterix and Obelix then try to make money to fill the cauldron but things continually go wrong. They even try to rob bank. Eventually they confront the corrupt chief after taking money from some Romans, and prove that he had arranged everything himself.
Probably the least funny of the entire series.”
“overdosing on Asterix. ”

The money disappears overnight and Asterix(and Obelix) must pay it back.”
