It also seemed like the instructional part flip-flopped between third and second person a lot: Susan dunked tissue paper in glue and crinkled it over... / To install a rivet, first punch a hole...
  
  Having dabbled in collage before, I did enjoy the variety of techniques and media presented. There's another whole layer of interest and texture that can be added with further painting, stamping, dimensions, and so on, and much of it simply hadn't occurred to me before reading this book.”
