I always appreciate when someone is frank about Biblical sexuality. I am excited when we look at sex the way the creator of sex intended for it to be enjoyed and experienced. Thank you for the resource!”

I enjoyed the honesty and transparency with which Lauren writes. She calls the church to account for failing to acknowledge the reality and difficulties of a life of sexual purity. ”

Having come of age in the seventies, I loved the viewpoint. The Christian right has done its usual bad job of trying to convey an idea. This book helps make the argument a little better. I mean, please, relationships are a mess. Could it be at least partly because of casual attitudes toward sex? It is so devalued. ”

Thoughtful and straight forward. Her encouragement in seeking out community within the Body is, I feel, something to be desired.
That being said, she doesn't reach too many conclusions (though I'm not sure you can without making it a very lengthy book, and she herself admits that she's not trying to lay out concrete rules to live by). I think, paring this book along with Joshua Harris's "Sex is Not the Problem, Lust Is" would be a great reading for anyone who is struggling to be faithful to God. Both books, I think, well address the issue of sexual lust and temptation but very well could be applied to many other areas of sin. ”
