I wish this book would have revealed a little more about the story...guess I'll have to read the next one.

This is a great book. Calla is a teenage girl that just lost her mother and is now living with her grandmother in Lily Dale. There she is getting visits from a dead girl telling her to "stop him". She is a medium, where she can contact with the spirits. But, not with her mother. She must find the killer before the killer finds her. In the end she knows that her mother didn't have an accident death, but was murdered. I can't wait to read the next book and find out what happens next!

Lily Dale: Believing picks up where Lily Dale: Awakening left off. Calla is starting school in Lily Dale after the adventures of the summer and she is still trying to understand what really happened to her mother. Meanwhile, she has helped a missing murdered girl's body be found, but can the ghostly messages she is receiving help her stop the killer from striking again? The ending winds up one storyline rather abruptly, but it's clear the other questions Calla is asking will continue to be answered in other books, including which of the guys who are showing interest in her she will actually end up with. This is nothing deep, but it's an entertaining serial read for girls who like the supernatural, mysteries, friendships and romance all in one.
