“I loved this book and am reading it through for the second time as I type. It is true that it can be a little heavy on the theory and most people I know who have read it confess to having skipped the odd paragraph here and there, but despite onerous moments it is an uplifting and inspiring book that grounds what new age mystics have long believed in pure, unadulterated science.
Dispenza explains that we are all beings in a state of evolution and provides us with the tools to evolve into whoever we want to be. Anyone who was inspired by The Secret and What the Bleep will love this and anyone who felt that either of those were alittle too esoteric and mumbo jumbo should give this book a chance to convince you otherwise.”
“Dr Joe Dispenza, a practising chiropractor, shows how the power of the human spirit can heal our bodies and our lives, providing strong scientific basis. He believes in the power of brain because he used it to heal himself after a tragic accident wchich left him with multiple compression fractures of the spine (more than 60% collapsed). He chose to heal himself by sheer mental power over the choice of painkillers and surgery (after consulting top neurosurgeons and doctors) which would have left him with only a 50% chance of ever walking again. He was completely healed 3 months later and uses his therapy to help others receive "miraculous healings" by changing the brain's neural architecture, which in turn, changed their health. A few chapters of the book are devoted to the functions of the brain and its parts and the roles they play. Dr. Dispenza shows how to put knowledge and experience into practice in our everyday life too. Learn about addiction, healing and creating the person that you want to be. Dr. Dispenza is also sought after as a speaker for his conversational way of presenting scientific concepts to lay audiences. He did his research as an undergraduate in biochemistry and received ongoing training in neurology, neurophysiology and brain function. He has been featured as one of the scientists in the award winning movie - What The Bleep Do We Know?”
