A really unique take on a traditional subject matter. The vampire has to be one of the most written about sci-fi subjects of all time. What makes Lumley's version so interesting is the non-traditional manner of the vampire itself in his serious of novels (all titled Necroscope). Fascinating take on such an overdone subject matter. It's a true horror series and not for the weak of heart but if you can stomach it, it's a great series and I give it high ratings for Lumley's originality.

The entry for this book is horribly screwed up - various editions of all the books in the Necroscope series are lumped together. How does one go about getting this fixed? I've already submitted feedback about it.
