“This is a quest full of plenty of obstacles. Maura and Rath show us that love can be surprising and rewarding. The Wizard's Ward is an exciting an easy read.”

It would have been nice to know who the "king" really was--what was his background, what did his real name mean? How were the king and queen going to convince anyone who they really were? Some witnesses or talismans or something would have been nice. How did they go about restoring the kingdom? Also, it seemed odd that a character supposedly so concerned with values as Maura would have absolutely no interest in a marriage ceremony. ”
