Author Hanlon codifies branding into seven key stages: creation story, creed (mission), icons, rituals, pagans, sacred words and leaders. All successful brands effectively apply these elements. While the list is interesting it is the detail of his case studies that really makes this book a worthwhile read. He shows how the seven elements work together to create a powerful brand.
